SEW-EURODRIVE INDIA was incorporated in 1997 as a limited liability company with sales office at Delhi. The first small gear motor assembly plant was set up at Vadodara, Gujarat and started operations in 2000 with 9 employees and business presence in 5 cities. Since those humble beginnings, our unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction in power transmission, drive automation and motion control has led to strong growth in our sales and reach. We now have two modern assembly plants at Vadodara and Chennai with a combined area of 16,000 square meters, which assemble gear motors, frequency converters and industrial gearboxes. We have an extensive network of sales and service offices across 17 cities in India. To consolidate our processes and better serve our customers, we have adopted MySAP ERP as our nationwide enterprise resource system since early 2008. SEW's operations in India now have 180 skilled and committed people whom we recognize as the source of our success.
