Product Description:
Tool design has been shown to be a critical component for optimization of FSW in high melting temperature materials. This influences the parameters, along with the joint properties. Exploration of weld parameters has shown excellent properties by controlling the tool temperature to that of below the A1 temperature. Spindle speed was shown to be the most influential parameter, with spindle speeds of 75 RPM showing excellent results.
