Rotomotive motors are totally enclosed and fan cooled. Non standard versions in TENV construction are also available on request.

The frame size upto 132 are made from light weight die cast aluminium alloy and from size 160 upto 355 frame and end-covers are made from cast iron.

Energy Efficient EFF1/EFF2 Motors
Delphi series energy efficient asynchronous squirrel cage induction motors with EFF2/ EFF1 efficiencies are manufactured conforming to lS:1 261 5-2004.

The enclosures, mounting and voltage supply conditions and tolerances are similarfor both EFF2 & EFF1 motors.

EFF1 motors can be easily recognized by name plate & RAL5007 blue colour on terminal box cover in 71 -1 32 frame size & RAL9006 silver colour on terminal box cover in 160frame

For EFF1 motors nearly uniform efficiency from 60% to 1 00% of rated load

Energy Efficient IE2 & IE3 MotorsDelphi series energy efficient asynchronous squirrel cage induction motors - high efficiency IE2 & premium efficiency IE3 are manufactured conforming to IEC-60034-30.

The enclosures, mounting and voltage supply conditions and tolerances are similar to Delphi Series EFF2 motors.

IE-2 motors can be easily recognized by name plate & RAL5007 blue colour on terminal box cover in 80-1 32 frame size & RAL9006 silver colour on terminal box cover in 160 & above frame size.
 IE-3 motors can be easily recognized by name plate & black colour on terminal box cover in 80-1 32 frame size.

Rotomotive asynchronous three phase Delphi series motors are built with dimensional conformance to Indian Standard IS: 1231, IS:2223 & International standard IEC 71-1.

Incorporated in August 2006, Rotomotive Powerdrives India Limited is an Indo-Italian joint venture with Rotomag Motors & Controls and Indian promoters holding 51% stake and Motive SRL and Italian promoters holding the remaining 49%. The joint venture agreement provides full access to current and future technologies from Motive SRL as well as the reverse flow of technology and buybacks from Rotomotive to Motive.The construction of our first plant was completed in July 2007 and the Delphi range of induction motors, worm gearboxes, worm gearboxes and brake motors was launched in India in the first phase. Our second factory will be spread over an area of 14,000 square meters and will have advanced manufacturing facilities, automated coiling and testing, systematic storage facilities and barcoded parts for easy tracking.A product development team was formed to absorb technology and localize Motive's products for the Indian market to develop customized products for OEM customers. We support our customers through a nationwide network of 70+ dealers, 55+ service centres, 8 sales points and 3 warehouses.
