Crane Duty Motors

Delphi CR series motors are compact asynchronous squirrel cage induction motors specially designed for use in cranes and hoists.

The enclosures, mounting and voltage supply conditions are similar to Delphi Series EFF2 motors.

These motors can be supplied with integral fail safe D.C. Brakes, with built in rectifiers. Brakes of 24 Volts for direct use with VFD drives and AC brakes are also available.

Incorporated in August 2006, Rotomotive Powerdrives India Limited is an Indo-Italian joint venture with Rotomag Motors & Controls and Indian promoters holding 51% stake and Motive SRL and Italian promoters holding the remaining 49%. Italian and Indian promoters have equal representation on the board. The joint venture agreement provides full access to current and future technologies from Motive SRL as well as the reverse flow of technology and buybacks from Rotomotive to Motive.The construction of our first plant was completed in July 2007 and the Delphi range of induction motors, worm gearboxes, worm gearboxes and brake motors was launched in India in the first phase. Our second factory will be spread over an area of 14,000 square meters and will have advanced manufacturing facilities, automated coiling and testing, systematic storage facilities and barcoded parts for easy tracking.A product development team was formed to absorb technology and localize Motive's products for the Indian market to develop customized products for OEM customers. We support our customers through a nationwide network of 70+ dealers, 55+ service centres, 8 sales points and 3 warehouses.
