Optibelt KB SK kraftbands consist of high-quality individual V-belts which are connected with one another by a joining band. According to the application, up to 5 wedge V-belts may be used per kraftband.
In special cases, kraftbands with more than 5 belts are available. When using several kraftbands per drive, combinations of sets must be specified.
Optibelt KB SK kraftbands are used above all with extreme shock loads or large centre distances in combination with small diameter pulleys and with vertical shafts.
Optibelt Super KBX-POWER kraftbands are made up of optibelt Super X-POWER V-belts and are joined together with a top surface which is highly resistant to wear and tear. optibelt Super KBX-POWER kraftbands display a tension behaviour which is clearly more favourable in comparison with conventional raw edge kraftbands. These kraftbands are used with up to five ribs or as a combination of sets.
Optibelt Super KBX-POWER kraftbands are recommended to be used when dealing with extreme impact loads, vertical running shafts, large centre distances and many other special tasks in the field of machine and vehicle construction. The performance values correspond to the sections of the optibelt Super X-POWER V-belts.
