Heat Treatment ? Most forged components are heat treated by various processes including stress relieving, normalizing, annealing, solution annealing, quenching and tempering, carburizing, nit mounting, induction hardening, flame hardening to improve quality of the product and meet exact individual requirements. Whenever necessary, the test bar is subjected to tensile tests, bending tests, impact tests, and microstructure verification after heat treatment. Hard Chrome Plating: Hard chrome plating and stellateing are done on jobs that require these applications. Shrink Fit ? We have successfully completed large shrink fit jobs with a 100% success rate. Destructive Testing ? Test parts (integral or separate) are heat treated along with components and tested for required physical properties such as tensile and impact strength.
